Undoubtedly, this is one of the most common question asked by our clients and it is important not to spend beyond your budget. However, as so many factors will determine the cost of your new kitchen, this is impossible to answer without first meeting with our clients. Factors include the size of the area, type of bench top, door styles, appliances and use of other products such as lighting or a soft-close feature for drawers.

Each job will vary greatly so we will be happy to draw you a design and provide an itemised quote as a free service. Our quote will include a rough estimate provided by other trades (such as plumber and electrician). These will be invoiced directly by these trades after the completion of their own work, but customers find it helpful when added to the initial quote so they can factor these into their overall budget.We are happy to guide clients through pricing options and suggest alternatives in line with your budget. Everything is clearly discussed before installation so there are no hidden charges, and the customer signs approval on the quote.

We can provide this service for you. The cost of hiring a skip bin will be added to your quote at your request. You may provide your own bin or dispose of existing cabinets yourself should you prefer to.

Clohessy Cabinets have our own fully qualified plumber and electrician that we have been working with for years. This helps the renovation process to be well-coordinated and run smoothly. We can also connect you to other tradespeople that may be required such as tilers or plasterers. We are also happy to work with your own tradespeople should you have a preference.

Clohessy Cabinets specialise in designing and installing full kitchens as most of our work. Our renovations involve removing the kitchen entirely and making changes to increase space, storage and functionality.

We understand that often a mini makeover is what your budget allows. However we cannot offer our warranty for work on your kitchen if the existing framework is at the end of its life span. Full renovations will cost more initially but is a better long-term option for such a highly utilized area of your home.

If you decide a bench top is really all you need, we will direct you to a trusted company that will be happy to help.

We do not install pre-bought flat-packs and ready-made kitchens. Our business prides itself on custom made design and installation for each client. Each cabinet made in our factory in Wangara conforms to precision measurements that we take from your home. Your design meeting ensures we are using every inch of space to its maximum potential, and you are using the highest quality products available in the industry.

Although Clohessy Cabinets specializes in kitchens, we also renovate and create laundries and outdoor entertaining areas. We design full outdoor kitchens and BBQ areas for alfresco living and adult retreats.

We have an upstairs showroom conveniently located in Wangara in Perth’s northern suburbs. Here you can see fully set up kitchens as well as an extensive selection in colours and materials. You can view bench top samples, door styles, handles, pull-out systems and much more. We have colour samples and brochures  available. Contact us to arrange a suitable time (Saturdays are by appointment only).

Prior to installation, you may also visit our factory and view your kitchen set up. You can also see our staff work onsite at our own premises constructing kitchens for current customers.

You would expect most quotes to be similar if they are based on exactly the same layout, with identical products (such as bench top and doors) chosen.

Clohessy Cabinets will always ensure you receive an itemized quote. Beware of any companies that offer a single price quote – the breakdown is important so you know exactly what is (and isn’t included).

If there is a questionable difference, we can take a look and explain to you. We would suggest asking us (and other cabinet makers) on the specifics. For example, have you added soft-close drawers and hinges? Are you using top quality hardware?

Cheap quotes are often example of ‘you get what you pay for’, which is why we confidently provide a 10 year warranty on our work and a lifetime warranty on our BLUM hardware. The quality of products we use is what sets us apart from our competitors. We never use cheap imported materials, only the finest quality Australian manufactured material. Clohessy Cabinets also offers knowledge, experience and one-to-one direct service. You will always deal directly with the owner Ben Clohessy from beginning to end.

These details will be on your invoice. Payment is received in three installations and the final payment is not due until installation is complete and the client is satisfied.

We currently accept payment by bank transfer, cash and cheque.
